About Sanjally Bojang Foundation
Empowering communities through education, humanitarian support, and sustainable development across The Gambia.
Who We Are
The Sanjally Bojang Foundation is a humanitarian and community-focused non-profit organization dedicated to improving the lives of vulnerable individuals and underserved communities throughout The Gambia.
Founded on principles of compassion, transparency, and sustainable impact, the foundation works to break cycles of poverty through structured education support, food security initiatives, infrastructure development, and youth empowerment programs.
Join Us in Changing Lives
Across West Africa — including The Gambia, Senegal, Cameroon, and Guinea-Bissau — many vulnerable communities continue to face critical challenges such as limited access to clean water, healthcare, and education.
Access to safe water and education is recognized globally as a fundamental human right. Yet thousands of families still struggle daily with preventable hardships that affect their health, dignity, and future opportunities.
Your donation fuels hope — supporting clean water initiatives, medical outreach programs, and educational assistance that create measurable and lasting change.
Every act of generosity creates waves of hope.

Honorary Member
Faiz Fareed resides in Raleigh, North Carolina, and has worked in the medical profession as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist for over three decades. Throughout his distinguished career, he has served in multiple hospitals across the United States and internationally in Saudi Arabia.
Beyond his professional healthcare career, Mr. Fareed is deeply committed to humanitarian service. Inspired by the belief that the most beloved people are those who benefit others, he dedicates his time to relieving hardship and uplifting vulnerable communities.
“My life begins after I leave work in the medical field. My real work begins by serving people — whether as a school crossing guard, prison counselor, or simply opening the door at the mosque to greet others.”
His humanitarian efforts have taken him to Rohingya refugee camps in Bangladesh and to underserved communities across Cameroon, The Gambia, Senegal, and Guinea-Bissau. Through collaboration with trusted organizations, he supports sustainable initiatives in education, healthcare, and community development.
He refers to this mission as “Ummahnitarian” work — a commitment to serving humanity wherever help is needed.
